Water Pressure

Image of a rooptop with trees in the background

Water pressure to your home should not be over 80psi. Recently we have found several customers that have pressure over that. If you feel your pressure is high please contact the office to have it checked. Some areas in the District need to have Pressure Reducing Valves (PRV's) installed on their lines to reduce the water pressure before it enters the home. Although PRV's are not manditory, having pressure that is too high could pose a risk to your family and home. Installation of the PRV is the customers responsibility.
